Massimo Roberti was born in Rome. He started to study guitar at the age of 13 at the “School of Classical Guitar" - M° Modesto Ricchi” (Scuola di Chitarra Classica del M° Modesto Ricchi). In 1980 he graduated from the C.D.M.I. in Classical Guitar.
By the age of 17, he had been regularly working on fusion music. He worked for about two years in a recording studio. At the same time he wrote songs for different labels, including RCA and CBS.
In the following years he devoted himself to the study of piano and composition. In the nineties took a second step in the study of jazz guitar and improvisation techniques. The study is mainly based on the work of guitarists such as Wes Montogomery, George Benson at first, and then Pat Metheny and Mike Stern.
In 2003-2004 he played with some jazz/fusion groups.
In 2005 GAP Trio - with Michele Panegrossi (Bass) and Leonardo D'Angelo (Drums) - came to life and they occasionally worked with Olimpio Riccardi (sax).
In 2008 he produced the CD "Piccole Imperfezioni" with 7 original tracks and original arrangement of W.A. Mozart’s piece.
In 2010 he produced the new CD "Riflessi" with 13 original tracks.
Up to now there are some new musical projects: Acoustic Orchestra, Arco Voltaico.
Summer 2012 - Coming Soon 3th CD: "Luonge Bar nr.1" in collaboration with Giulia Chiaraluce.
At this stage Massimo is enlisted with SIAE as a music composer & author.
Massimo is Founder and Art Director of Roma Spazio Musica a new Music School in Rome.
