About Me

Massimo Roberti is an Italian guitarist, composer, and music producer based in Rome, whose work blends elements of jazz, fusion, classical, and acoustic guitar music.
Born in Rome, Italy, he began studying guitar at the age of 13 at the School of Classical Guitar under M° M. Ricchi. In 1980 he graduated in Classical Guitar from C.D.M.I., laying the foundations for a musical journey that would span several genres and decades of creative activity.
By the age of 17, Roberti was already performing fusion music and working regularly in recording studios. During this period he expanded his musical skills by learning bass guitar, keyboards, and drums, gaining a deeper understanding of arrangement and production. In the following years he also studied piano, harmony, and arrangement, further developing his compositional approach.
During the 1990s he deepened his study of jazz guitar and improvisation, drawing inspiration from legendary musicians such as Charlie Christian, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Pat Metheny, and Larry Carlton.
Between 2003 and 2005 he performed with several jazz and fusion groups, refining his musical language through live performance and collaboration.
His recording career began in 2008 with the release of Piccole Imperfezioni, featuring seven original compositions and a personal arrangement of a piece by W. A. Mozart.
This was followed by Riflessi (2010), with 13 original tracks, and Alchemy (2014), an album of 11 jazz-fusion compositions.
Over the years Massimo Roberti has continued composing and producing original music, building an extensive catalog that today includes around 30 albums released worldwide on major streaming platforms. Among his recent releases are:
